Vessa Rig
Bring your library.
Your songs already have a history. Start with what you have prepared in Stage Traxx 4 or OnSong.
Moving in is free on every plan. Keep a backup of your source library while you check the import.
From Stage Traxx 4
- Have a Stage Traxx 4 song file (
.st4s) or whole-library backup (.st4b) ready in Files on your iPad or iPhone. You can receive it by AirDrop. - In Vessa Rig, open Go Live → ••• → Import… and choose the file. You can also tap a received file in Files to open it in Vessa Rig.
- For a
.st4bbackup, review the songs, track counts, regions, sizes and available space before copying anything. Tick the songs you want. - Choose what to do with songs you already have: keep yours, replace them, or keep both. Choose whether to bring setlists and folders too.
- Start the import. Songs arrive one at a time. You can press Stop; importing the same backup again resumes the songs not yet imported.
- Play through your songs and check the mixer and output routing before a show.
The import carries stems, fader levels, pan, buses, mutes, EQ, tempo, key, trim, fades and regions. Whole-library imports also bring setlists and folders. A song’s MIDI patch change on load comes across.
Check this before you switch: timed MIDI events inside a Stage Traxx song are not imported. This guide covers Stage Traxx 4 files, not older Stage Traxx formats.
From OnSong or ChordPro
- Prepare an
.onsong,.chopro,.choor.chordprofile. For several charts from OnSong, use its Export ChordPro option and keep the resulting.zip. - Save the file to Files or send it to your device with AirDrop.
- In Go Live, choose ••• → Import… and select the file. Lyrics, chords and section labels come across; a ChordPro ZIP imports the charts together.
- Check the imported charts. Chart files bring words and chords, not audio stems.
Words and tracks from different places?
When an imported title matches a song you already have, the Same song? sheet can join them. Choose Add audio for a lyrics-only song or Add lyrics for a song without words. If words already exist, the orange Replace choice makes that explicit. Import as a new song keeps them separate.
Ordinary imports add new songs; whole-library imports let you decide how duplicates are handled. Nothing asks you to delete your old library.
